What you pay as you use it

The plan covers the product. Here’s everything else you pay: what it costs and how we bill it.

Usage balance

Starter includes $10 a month of usage balance for what Kairon spends on your behalf: AI models, web searches and data. The balance renews every month and what you don’t use doesn’t carry over. You can add more at any time.

  • Your own agent (Claude, ChatGPT or another) runs on your subscription to it, so its thinking doesn’t use your balance. Data lookups and web searches it requests from Kairon still come out of your balance.
  • If the balance runs out, work in progress pauses. It resumes when the balance renews or when you add more, and you lose nothing.
  • If a provider finds the person but not their email, you pay up to $0.063. If no provider finds the person, you pay nothing.

Third-party data

Kairon connects to more than 1,700 data tools from 55 providers outside LinkedIn. Each lookup comes out of your balance. Your agent shows you the price first and waits for your yes. Below are some data points for prospecting, with the most you pay for each.

Sending email

There are three ways to send email: from each person's own Gmail or Outlook, through your own Instantly account (an email sending tool) at no extra cost, or with sending managed by Kairon. A workspace uses one of these at a time. If Kairon manages it, Kairon buys the domain, creates the mailboxes and warms them up (about 3 weeks of low-volume sending) for you.

  • With sending managed by Kairon, domains and mailboxes are extra, on top of the add-on. You pay them from your usage balance at what the sending provider charges, with no markup, and you see the price before buying.
  • Kairon buys .com and .org domains, with up to 5 mailboxes per domain.
  • A new domain needs about 3 weeks of low-volume sending (warm-up) before it can send campaigns.

LinkedIn accounts

Starter includes one connected LinkedIn account. Each extra account costs $49 a month and adds its own $10 a month of usage balance. In the first month you pay only for the days left after you connect it.

  • Clay does more than build and qualify lists. If you use Clay to combine several data providers for each company, this comparison doesn’t apply.
  • To find people, Kairon replaces Sales Navigator. Your own subscription adds InMail, your saved searches, filtering by your connections and some signals, such as job changes. It also raises the daily ceiling from 1,000 search results to 2,500.
  • Starter doesn’t include email. You add it with your Instantly, with your own Gmail or Outlook mailboxes at $10 a month each, or with the managed email in the last row.
  • Both Kairon rows include the $10 a month of usage balance. Usage past that is extra, at the prices in the usage balance table.

Before you sign up

Do I have to use Claude?

No. Kairon connects to Claude and ChatGPT. It also has a command line and its own agent inside the product, if you’d rather not connect anything.

Can it send without me?

Yes. It sends on its own by default, and Kairon schedules each send with time for you to review or cancel it. If you want to approve every message, switch the campaign to manual. It also answers people who reply, following your instructions.

What does the free trial include?

First you request access. Once we write back, you add a card and 7 days with everything in Starter begin. We charge managed email separately. Cancel before day 7 and you pay nothing.

What happens to my LinkedIn account?

Kairon protects your account with daily caps, paced actions and working hours, and it pauses when LinkedIn refuses an action from your account. LinkedIn can still restrict an account.

Which channels work today?

LinkedIn and email. Each person can send from their own Gmail or Outlook, for $10 a month per mailbox. Connect your own Instantly workspace at no extra Kairon cost, or add email managed by Kairon, which is charged separately. LinkedIn includes invitations, messages, profile views and post engagement, plus InMail if you have Sales Navigator.

How do I keep it away from people I already know?

An exclusion list of people and companies. Kairon checks it before every send: add a customer and even the messages already scheduled for them stop.

Do I need Sales Navigator?

Not for search: Kairon runs the same searches (role, industry and company size), and the lists come out the same. Your own subscription adds your saved searches and raises the daily ceiling from 1,000 search results to 2,500. You need your own Sales Navigator to filter by your connections, send InMail and use 4 signals (job change, recent post, funding round, leadership change). The profile-viewer signal needs Premium or Sales Navigator.

Can I bring my own list?

Yes. Upload a CSV and Kairon finds the LinkedIn profile for each row. Then Kairon checks each person against your ideal customer, like any other list.

What language does it write in?

It writes in the language of the person’s country: someone in Brazil gets Portuguese. If it can’t tell where they live, it uses the language of their posts. You can also choose the language of each message.
